It is that time of the year to sign up for the various planned training sessions. Once again, some courses are made available in the four areas of the agencies serving your union allowing you to participate in proximity of your home.
The costs of registration were not yet determined at the time of writing these few lines but will be provided when you register via telephone.
Different courses remain available this season:
• Managing a woodlot;
• Wood processing and marketing;
• Introduction to measurement.
The Lanaudière region owners can register with Marianne Gagnon at the Lanaudière UPA at 450 753-7486 ext 350. For the Montérégie owners, they should contact Kathleen Soucy at the Union of forest owners of southwestern Quebec at 450 679-0530 ext 8711. For owners of the Outaouais and Laurentians regions, you must communicate with Pierre Farley, forest technician for the Union of forest owners of southwestern Quebec, on his cellular phone at 819 775-8273.
